Personal Information:
Gene Ciancio was born in Denver, Colorado on July 29, 1946. Gene has strong family roots in the Denver metro area, especially in Adams County, where he was raised and currently resides. The Ciancio family has been deeply involved, both socially and politically, in the community for over 100 years. Gene's parents, Frank and Mary Ciancio, have made such a significant and lasting impact on the community, that they were affectionately called Mr. and Mrs. Adams County. Gene is married to Lisa Ciancio, and has one daughter, Cynthia, who he is now proud to say is practicing in the firm. Continuing the Ciancio tradition, Gene, Lisa and Cynthia, are extremely active in the community.

Gene attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1969. He then attended the University of Denver, College of Law and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1971.

Gene was a Professor of Business Law at University of Colorado and Community College of Denver from 1979 to 1983. He has also taught many Trial Advocacy courses at the University of Colorado, School of Law.
